Joined NTT Electric Communication Laboratories in 1977. From 1986 onwards, he was responsible for the invention, development, and commercialization of the FTTH (Fiber To The Home) system, as well as its international standardization. From 1998 to 2004, as a director of NTT, he was involved in the launch of broadband services and the realization of VPN services. From 2004 to 2007, he served as a technical advisor to Mitsubishi Corporation. From 2006 to 2011, he served as a director and CMO of Sochi Co., Ltd. (now VALUENEX), promoting the sale of the patent data visualization service, χLus (Kairus). In 2012, he became the COO of toor Co., Ltd., which provides a big data visualization engine and analysis services. He holds a Doctorate in Engineering (majoring in Applied Physics at the Graduate School of the University of Tokyo).

Joined Sumitomo Bank (now Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation) in 1987. After working in the planning department, he joined Standard & Poor’s where he engaged in product development, public relations, and marketing activities. After serving as head of public relations at Barclays Securities, he participated in the launch of Finsbury’s strategic communication consulting business in Japan. He has been serving as the COO and representative director of D’isum since 2022. He graduated from the Department of Political Science, Faculty of Law, Keio University, and obtained an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.

After studying electronic engineering at the National Engineering University of Chenis in 2014, she obtained a master’s degree from the Faculty of Engineering, Tohoku University in 2016. In 2021, she received her Ph.D. from the same university for her technology that enables fault prediction through the analysis and visualization of vibration and sound wave data without the use of learning models. She is capable of communicating in multiple languages including not only programming languages such as Python, Ruby, C, and C++, but also Arabic, Spanish, French, and Japanese (conversational level).
