Adopted by Microsoft’s Startup Support Program “Microsoft for Startups”

D’isum Inc. is pleased to announce that it has been selected for the startup support program “Microsoft for Startups” provided by Microsoft.

D’isum was established in October 2019 with the aim of supporting companies and people to prepare for various risks by visualizing risks that cannot be confirmed by human eyes through big data analysis. Specifically, we provide various services and solutions that enable anyone to visually and quantitatively understand changes in various risks of machinery and humans, such as machinery placed in diverse environments and the health conditions of individuals, based on daily data.

Regarding the adoption of “Microsoft for Startups,” Tetsuya Kaneda, the CEO and Representative Director of D’isum, said, “With the significant improvement in computer power, the development of the cloud service, and the digital transformation of companies, data is being accumulated in various scenarios. To analyze such accumulated data, experienced data scientists and other specialists are indispensable. Unfortunately, the supply of such data scientists has been consistently insufficient. In this context, the services and solutions we provide are groundbreaking in the sense that even ordinary engineers can easily and comprehensively grasp the signs of anomalies in a visually understandable manner.”

Our services and solutions are currently undergoing demonstration tests in various fields such as predictive maintenance and quality control of industrial robots, large-scale air conditioning systems, and large generators, simplified screening for Sleep Apnea Syndrome (SAS) using smartphones, risk assessment for lifestyle diseases, and risk management in the financial sector.

“With our recent acceptance into Microsoft for Startups, we not only have access to the use of Azure and Microsoft software for free, but we also receive support in various aspects such as technical advice, mentoring, marketing, and sales. We expect this support to provide significant momentum for our company’s development.”

The application range of D’isum’s technology is broad, and the company is currently promoting demonstration projects for implementation with financial institutions, power companies, transportation companies, and robot manufacturing companies, among others.
