D’isum Inc. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, CEO: Tetsuya Kaneda, hereinafter referred to as “D’isum”) participated in the Networking Fair Spring 2023 organized by the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA).

As part of its activities, JICA supports the acceptance of international students from many developing countries. This event is held annually by JICA to connect students mainly from developing countries who are studying in Japan and are interested in finding employment or internships with Japanese companies that want to hire outstanding international students. The event brought together more than 100 companies and over 300 international students.

D’isum set up a booth at the venue, and Sana Talmoudi, our Director and CTO, explained the company overview and the business we are engaged in. Many students showed great interest in Talmoudi’s explanation, as she herself is from Tunisia and came to Japan as an international student. Our booth had the longest line of students who wanted to hear the presentation and was the most popular booth among students at the venue. Kota Narimatsu, the COO and Representative Director of D’isum, expressed his thoughts on participating in the event, saying, “Although our company was founded in Japan, we have been active with a global market perspective since our establishment. Our CTO, Sana, is from Tunisia, and Fazıl Artıner, a database scientist scheduled to join next month, is from Turkey. We actively seek to hire talented individuals regardless of nationality or race. This event, where we had the opportunity to interact with numerous talented international students, was very meaningful.”

After the event, D’isum received many messages from students expressing their interest in internship at the company. We plan to have several students join us as interns and work with us from this summer.
